Georges Glantenay Pommard Les Rugiens-Haut

A smokier and slightly more complex nose than the Bertins displays an airy combination of red and dark currant along with subtle spice nuances that are trimmed in subtle but not invisible wood influence. The unusually seductive and succulent, indeed almost suave, flavors possess even better depth and length along with good finishing detail. I wouldn't necessarily describe this as a classic Rugiens because they are rarely seductive but nonetheless, it is lovely in its fashion. 91-93 Burghound Sweet spot Outstanding
