Deep ruby with a good tint of purple, the bouquet fragrant and subtle, rose-bush/pot-pourri, floral and tobacco nuances. A trace of smoked charcuterie. The wine is very elegant and refined in its texture, with plentiful but not overdone acidity, the flavour and structure in lovely harmony. The tannins are fine and well-defined, with just the right degree of firmness. An excellent Bordeaux-style blend. -97 points Bob Campbell MW
